my cm2 is in the hands of marty as of today. lets see how she turns out.

good luck you can go to the russian forum at rimfire central and go back
in the archives there's a ton of stuff about them there, most are really
happy with theirs.

Thanks Tom. I really appreciate all your posts in this thread. I am a semi-regular at RFC... will check it out and also keep you posted on how my experience with this rifle goes.

I've had to do some traveling for work so my time available for the project has been limited. Stripped the stock, stained it with dark walnut and am currently on my 3rd application of tung oil. Probably go with 8 coats. Will post pics when finished.

nice job. how's she shoot? you should be able to get the trigger down
to 8-9 ozs if it's like mine.
